Job description
For us, it's all about passion: passion for flavour, for quality and for Italian and Sardinian cuisine. In our kitchen, we create dishes that transport our guests to the Mediterranean. Are you a chef who cooks with love, works with pride and brings the flavours of Italy to life on every plate? Then we are looking for you.
What will you do?
- You prepare high-quality, authentic Italian and Sardinian dishes according to traditional recipes and with attention to detail.
- You work independently and maintain an overview, even during busy evenings.
- You contribute to a warm, Italian atmosphere by bringing la dolce vita to life through your dishes.
- You will work closely with a motivated, friendly team that shares the same passion.
What skills do you bring?
- Demonstrable experience as a chef, preferably in an Italian kitchen (but not mandatory).
- Motivation to work hard and grow within a team that prioritises quality.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Affinity with Italy or Sardinia – speaking the language is a plus, but a love for the cuisine is most important.

At Osteria Da Vinci you enter a little piece of Italy in the heart of Groningen. We stand for high-quality, authentic Italian and Sardinian dishes – and for an atmosphere in which every guest gets to experience la dolce vita . That's why we're looking for you: someone who not only serves our guests, but makes them feel like they belong to la famiglia during their stay.
What will you do?
- You make our guests feel as if they are truly dining in Italy.
- You create a warm, homely atmosphere in which everyone feels part of the (Italian) family.
- Hospitality is in your DNA – you find it natural to work with a smile.
- You will be working with a motivated, friendly team in an authentic Italian atmosphere.
What skills do you bring?
- Experience as service staff.
- Availability in the evenings and on weekends.
- Speaking Italian is a plus, but certainly not a must – a love for Italy counts just as much.
